Role Description:

Jr. Hosting Technical Support – Hosting is responsible for providing technical support to our Hosting/SaaS services to our Global Client Base. Including supporting industry leading technology, tools, processes, systems to deliver high caliber cloud-based services and application management for any product, any BU, any customer, anywhere in the world meeting the service levels and expectations set by a BU.


Tasks associated with the Role:

      •              Responding to and logging of support calls with our datacenter partner

              Provision of advice and assistance relating to the hosting products and services

              Reporting to customer on progress and resolution

              Provision of support / advice at customers

              Conduct of activities in accordance with the relevant Quality procedures

              Liaison and consultation with other departments

              Provision of technical advice/solution design to the hosting manager

              Provision of technical support to the Instem Helpdesk for hosting and support calls

              Working closely with our datacenter vendor on support and maintenance activities

              Ensure adherence to our documented Quality Management System in all tasks associated with this role

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

      •              Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support role

              Database client and server concepts

              Windows administration including: Active Directory, Group Policies, Application management, Remote Desktop

              Network concepts including: DNS, LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP-IP, Firewalls

              Citrix and Oracle experience a plus
