SEND Services Team Lead

About the Role:

As a member and Team Lead of our growing group of service specialists you will be part of a larger global team that is highly-focused on providing SEND (Standard for Exchange of Nonclinical Data) related services to our clients. 

In this role, you will join a global services team that has extensive experience in Life Sciences, the SEND standard and other related regulatory standards/guidance.  In-depth initial training, mentoring and continuous learning is at the heart of our staff development. 

To start, you will be an integral part of a team engaged in converting nonclinical data into SEND compliant datasets.  As your experience, knowledge and skills continue to grow you’ll be responsible for building and leading a SEND Services Team out of our Instem office in Pune, India.  This will be a fast-paced, team environment focused on providing high-quality services and consultancy to our clients in an ever changing regulatory landscape.  The Team Lead will be responsible for training and management of the Pune team and will work closely with our US based SEND Services Team Leads.  

This position will be located in our office in Pune, India with the expectation that periodic domestic and/or international travel will be required.  To start, there is an expectation that some time will be spent in the US to receive initial training along with other new recruits.

Primary Responsibilities (with on-going training provided):

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of preclinical data
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of SEND and other regulatory standards/guidance
  • Perform reviews of preclinical data converted into SEND
  • Perform reviews for SEND  compliance
  • Develop the ability to understand customer needs
  • Recruit, train, mentor and manage additional SEND Services consultants for the Pune office
  • Establish a close working relationship with US SEND Service Team Leads ensuring that services provided out of the Pune office are consistent with existing Instem standards for quality, efficiency and on-time delivery to our clients.
  • Through on-going mentoring, develop skills necessary to perform SEND data conversions

  • Bachelors degree in Life Science (or similar field) or IT
  • Skilled using basic Microsoft applications

 

Additional Information

You will enjoy and expect periodic domestic and/or international travel.  This includes a temporary stay in the US for initial training.
