HR Coordinator

Role Description:

Reporting to the VP, Global Human Resources, the HR coordinator provides HR support from an operational perspective to the India office employees. They are the first point of contact for all India employees regarding HR issues, providing relevant and appropriate HR support, escalating to the India Talent Acquisition & HR Manager as appropriate.

Tasks associated with the Role:

=         Executing the appropriate processes to induct all new local employees including contract drafting, background checks, benefits administration, induction scheduling, mandatory LMS training and delivering HR inductions.

=         Ensuring training records are up to date in accordance with HR and training procedures whilst driving learning and development initiatives. 

=         Maintaining accurate HR records in the HR Information System online and paper based, conducting regular audits of the data

=         Assist in maintaining and developing the India HR Policy Handbook in accordance with local legislation, implementing changes where necessary whilst keeping abreast of relevant employment law.

=         Regular monitoring of sickness absence, ensuring return to work interviews are conducted as necessary and relevant documentation is collected and recorded in a timely manner and escalating situations as appropriate

=         Ensuring all appropriate policies, procedures and legal requirements are adhered to with clear audit trails and maintenance of employee records in HR systems.

=         Responding to internal external HR related inquiries and providing assistance, escalating where necessary

=         Conducting exit interviews

=         Driving and monitoring performance management processes ensuring maximum completion rates in a timely manner, including probationary reviews

=         Produce and submit reports on general HR activity as and when requested

=         Assisting with recruitment related operational requests as and when requested by the Talent Acquisition & HR Manager

=         Other administrative activities and ad-hoc projects in support of HR.

=         Ensure adherence to our documented Quality Management System in all tasks associated with this role.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

=         Previous experience in a HR Coordinator role (or similar level) is essential

=         Excellent working knowledge of India employment legislation, HR procedures and policies

=         Proficient in IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel/Word and able to use an HR Information System

=         Experience working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment is desirable
