Information Scientist - Pune

The Role: 

As a member of our growing group of service specialists you will be part of a team that is highly focused on providing SEND (Standard for Exchange of Nonclinical Data) related services to our clients.  

You will join a services team that has extensive experience in Life Sciences, the SEND standard and other related regulatory standards/guidance.  In-depth initial training, mentoring and continuous learning is at the heart of our staff development.  

To start, you will be an integral part of a team engaged in converting nonclinical data into SEND compliant datasets.  As your experience, knowledge and skills continue to grow you’ll advance to providing other SEND related services and client consultancy.  This is a fast-paced, team environment, focused on providing high-quality services and consultancy to our clients in an ever changing regulatory landscape.  

This position will be located in our office in Pune India,

 

Primary Responsibilities (with on-going training provided):

•      Develop an in-depth understanding of preclinical data

•      Develop an in-depth understanding of SEND and other regulatory standards/guidance

•      Perform reviews of preclinical data converted into SEND

•      Perform reviews for SEND  compliance

•      Develop the ability to understand customer needs

•      Through on-going mentoring, develop skills necessary to perform SEND data conversions

•      Through on-going mentoring, develop skills necessary to engage in additional SEND related consultancy services:

•        SEND Education

•       SEND Consultancy

•       Dataset Verification

•       FDA Test Submissions

•       Services associated with clients implementing our submit™ suite of products


Background, experience and personal attributes:

•      Educational or professional experience in a Life Sciences/Preclinical environment or IT with an appreciation for complex data

•      Bachelors degree in Life Science (or similar field) or IT 

•      Skilled using basic Microsoft applications
